Wink Shipping is Paused

Hey everyone. A streamer found a very serious bug in the game (spoilers for final boss at that link). It's rarely triggered and I thought I had dealt with it but apparently it's still there. I'm going to have to fix and test thoroughly to make sure it's no longer present.

Unfortunately, that means I'm going to have to pause shipping. And then I'll have to re-flash all unshipped cartridges with the fixed ROM. This is going to take some time, I'm guessing 2-3 weeks.

Sorry to all of you who are still waiting! I know you want to play the game. I'm working extra hard to get it to you ASAP. This bug is rare so it may not affect you when you play through the game, but it's too serious to ignore. 

If you want to avoid spoilers: the bug causes the final battle to become unwinnable. You can easily leave the battle but it means you have to start the entire final level from the start. That's frustrating and unfair, so I have to address it.

If you've already received your cartridge, DM me and we can figure it out. If you don't have your own cartridge flasher (and most people who aren't Gameboy hobbyists won't) and you're playing the physical cartridge, I can work with you to fix the issue and I think I will even be able to retain your save data, pending further testing on that.

On the other hand, there have been times where an unusual version of games can be worth more on the collectors market. If you're not playing the physical cart and it's more of a collector's item for you, it might actually be good to keep the original release version. That's up to you!
